Warranty Policy

At Office Furnitures Malaysia, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and excellent customer satisfaction. We extend full manufacturers’ warranties on all goods, provided they are used under normal, intended conditions.

General Warranty Terms

  • Warranty Coverage: Covers manufacturing defects only, under normal residential or office use.
  • Duration: Unless otherwise specified, the standard warranty period is 1 year from the date of delivery or shipment.

What is NOT Covered

Our warranty does not cover the following:

  • Misuse or Abuse: Damages due to misuse, abuse, accidents, or tampering with the product.
  • Freight Handling: Damages caused during shipping or delivery mishandling.
  • Environmental or Natural Causes: Damage from fire, floods, pollution, exposure to sunlight or heat, or natural disasters.
  • Improper Use: Damages due to neglect, unauthorized repairs or alterations, exposure to chemicals (solvents, ink, abrasives), or use outside the intended environment.
  • Pet or Food Damage: Damage caused by pets, food stains, burns, cuts, and punctures by sharp objects.
  • Cleaning Products: Damages resulting from the use of improper cleaning methods or products.
  • Pilling: Fabric pilling is considered normal and not a manufacturing defect.

Specific Product Warranty Coverage

  • Seating Frames: 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Dining Chair Frames: 1-year warranty.
  • Foam & Fabric (Seating): 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Fully Upholstered Seating:
    • Frames, mechanisms, and springs: 1 year
    • Foam and fabric cushions: 1 year
  • Tough Max Molded Plastic Furniture: 1-year warranty against breakage during normal use. Warranty is void if:
    • Exposed to heat sources closer than 18 inches
    • Exposed to temperatures over 74°C
    • Exposed to UV rays without specified UV protection
  • Accent Furniture (Seating, Tables, Dining Groups): 1-year warranty for material and workmanship under normal use.
  • Outdoor Picnic Tables & Benches: 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Laminated Furniture: 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
    • Warranty void if modified, misused, improperly installed, or customer materials are applied.
  • Office Seating:
    • Upholstery: 1-year warranty
    • Intended for users under 100 kg, used up to 40 hours per week
    • Not valid for rental use or improperly installed/maintained chairs

Warranty Claims Process

To submit a warranty claim, please provide clear photos showing the defect to Office Furnitures Malaysia. We will assess the issue and, at our discretion, repair or replace the item as directed by the manufacturing facility.

Important Notes

  • Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
  • Transportation costs for inspection, repairs, or replacements for non-warranted issues are the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • Office Furnitures Malaysia reserves the right to determine if a product is eligible for warranty coverage and to choose between repair or replacement.

*** 5 YEARS WARRANTY FOR LIMITED OFFICE SEATING ***

  • This limited warranty applies to 5 years warranty chair only.
  • You are required to present the invoice for your warranty service.
  • Seating mechanism, adjustable arms, framework, and seating foam – 5 Years from date of delivery
  • Third-party materials such as Fabric and Leather upholstery – Not Applicable [for limited chair only]
  • This warranty does not apply to “normal wear and tear,”
  • Does not apply to any product that has been altered
  • Warranty Cautions:

* 5 YEARS WARRANTY FOR WOOD BASED PRODUCT*

  1. This Product will be under Warranty for FIVE (5) YEARS from the Ex-Factory date subject to the terms and Condition of the company’s Warranty.
  2. This warranty covers the following defects ONLY:-
    • Wood Maggots
    • Wood Fracture
    • Finger Jointed wood come apart
  3. This warranty DOES NOT cover:
    • Termite Infection
    • Misuses
    • Scratches or damage due to burns, cut, pets or as result of normal wear and tear
    • If the products is tempered with or has been repaired by other party without prior consent
    • Damage caused by improper foundation
    • Alteration due to environment, light and hat in particular
    • Improper cleaning and treating the product with chemical
    • Spills such as acid, solvents, dyes or other corrosive chemical, ink & paint
    • Contact, commercial, institutional, rental trade or any other non-residential usage
  4. This warranty is only extended to the original purchaser at the original delivery address
  5. Transportation charges to and from designated service center and the materials used for repair or replacement will be borne by the purchaser
  6. The frame for repair is subject to the availability of materials. The company reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality
  7. The Purchaser MUST notify the company through the Furniture Dealer from where the purchase is made, of any and all claims in writing
  8. The Purchaser MUST return the product to the Furniture Dealer from ware the product is purchased, for the warranty claims verification; Original invoice must be attached as a proof of purchase
  9. This Warranty is valid within Malaysia ONLY
  10. The Company will not be held responsible for any incidental or consequential damage arising from the use of this product, and in no event shall the company’s responsibility exceed the purchase price of the original product of its placement.

Custom-Made Items Policy

At Office Furnitures Malaysia, we take pride in delivering personalized furniture solutions that reflect your unique taste and functional requirements. Our custom-made items are thoughtfully designed and built to your exact specifications. To ensure a smooth and transparent experience, please review the following policy regarding custom-made orders:

No Refunds or Returns

All custom-made items are non-refundable and non-returnable. Because these products are made exclusively for you based on your selected materials, dimensions, and designs, they cannot be resold or repurposed.
We strongly encourage you to review all design selections, measurements, and order details carefully before confirming your order.

Accurate Measurements Are Essential

To guarantee a proper fit and satisfaction with your custom piece, it is important that all measurements provided are accurate and complete. We recommend referring to our measurement guidelines or consulting with our team if you are unsure.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for issues resulting from inaccurate or incomplete measurements provided by the customer.

Quality & Craftsmanship

Production Timeline

Custom-made products typically require additional production time, depending on the complexity of the design and our current order volume.
An estimated lead time will be provided at the time of order confirmation. Please note that while we strive to meet these timelines, unexpected delays may occur, and we appreciate your understanding and patience.
